He died on 28 Mar 1982 in Frostburg, Allegany Co., Maryland. Vincent E. Weimer, 82, of 17 Mt. Pleasant Street, was dead on arrival at Frostburg Community Hospital, Cumberland, Md., March 28, 1982. A native of Meyersdale, he was a son of the late Edward Weimer and Sarah (Chaney) Weimer. He was married three times and was preceded in death by his first two wives, Mrs. Mary Margaret (Capel) Weimer, and Mrs. Marie (Basenger) Weimer. He was a retired lumber dealer and member of St. Michael's Church. He is survived by his widow, Mrs. Elsie I. (Broadwater) Weimer; three daughters, Mrs. Bernadette (Shumaker), Frostburg, Md.; Mrs. Rosemary Murray, Baltimore, Md.; Mrs. Joanne Stevens, LaVale, Md.; one son, William V. Weimer, Frostburg; four brothers, Horace Weimer, Frostburg; Stanley Weimer, Ambrose Weimer, and Alphonse Weimer, all of Avilton, Md.; two sisters, Mrs. Charlotte Detrick, Bellville; Mrs. Evelyn Culp; four stepchildren; 12 grandchildren; seven step-grandchildren. She died on 27 Jun 1975 in Frostburg, Allegany Co., Maryland. FROSTBURG — Mrs. Marie R. Weimer, 71, of 17 Mt. Pleasant Street, was dead on arrival at Frostburg Community Hospital today. Born in Salisbury, Pa., she was the daughter of the late John Short and Mary (Bowers) Short(sic Schardt). Mrs. Weimer was a member of St. Michael's Catholic Church and the Sodality of the church. Surviving are her husband, Vincent E. Weimer; one daughter, Mrs. Louise Ball, Newark, Del.; three stepdaughters, Mrs. Bernadette Shumaker, Frostburg; Mrs. Rose Mary Murray, Baltimore; Mrs. Joanne Stevens, LaVale; and stepson, William Weimer, Frostburg; one brother, Robert Short, York, Pa.; three sisters, Mrs. Mildred Clauson, Saltsburg, Pa.; Mrs. Julia Geiger, and Mrs. Jean LaRue, both of Meyersdale, Pa.; three grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
