- Geraldine CROWE was born about 1914 in Frostburg, Allegany Co., Maryland. She died on 1 Sep 1977 in Cumberland, Allegany Co., Maryland. FROSTBURG - Mrs. Geraldine F. Walker, 63, of 293 East Main Street, died yesterday at Sacred Heart Hospital, Cumberland, where she had been admitted August 26. A native of Frostburg, she was a daughter of the late John and Anna (Dean) Crowe. She was a member of St. Michael's Catholic Church, Frostburg FOE Auxiliary 1273, and WOM 348. Surviving are her husband, Ezra Walker; three sons, Thomas and Robert Walker, Bradenton, Fla., and Michael Walker, at home; a daughter, Mrs. Carole Commons, Bradenton; two brothers, Leroy and John Crowe, here; three sisters, Mrs. Gladys Connelly, Mrs. Anna Noland, Cumberland, and Mrs. Ursula Dunn, Dayton, Ohio, and five grandchildren. The body is at the Durst Funeral Home, where friends will be received from 2 until 4 and 7 until 9 p.m. and where a Christian wake service will be held today at 8 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated tomorrow at 10 a.m. at St. Michael's Church. Burial will follow in the parish cemetery. The Cumberland News, September 2, 1977.
