Linnie was born on June 8, 1940, in Mount Savage. She was the daughter of the late Carl Blank Sr. and Anna Mary (McKenzie) Blank. She was preceded in death by her husband, Gary T. Mace; and brothers, Carl, Perry, Ronald, Gilbert and Darrell Blank. Surviving are brothers, Russell Blank, Mount Savage, and Ellsworth Blank, Reistertown; and sister, Martha Shaw, Mount Savage. She was employed at the Fruit Bowl. She was an avid Nascar fan, she enjoyed listening to the music at Friday After 5, and she also loved to attend all the local fairs. She is survived by four sons, Gary Mace and wife Lisa, Charles Town, W.Va., Chuck Mace and wife Debbie, Huntington, W.Va., Richard (Scott) Mace, LaVale, and Ronald Mace and wife Cindy, Minot, N.D.; grandchildren, Ronald Mace, Cody Mace, Justin Mace, Renee Mace, Sarah Kelley, Becci Mace, Sarah Mace, Gary Carl Mace and Travis Mace; three great-grandchildren, Ronnie, Anna Marie and Cody Jr. Friends will be received at the Sowers Funeral Home, P.A., on Tuesday from 7 to 9 p.m. and Wednesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday, May 6, 2010, at St. Patrick’s Catholic Church in Mount Savage at 11 a.m. with Father Ty Hullinger as celebrant. Interment will be in St. Patrick’s Cemetery.
