Frostburg - Mrs. Corolla Platter, 59, of here, died yesterday at her home. A native of Garrett County, she was born March 30, 1903, a daughter of the late Samuel and Della (Crowe) Weimer. Survivors include her husband, Howard Platter; two sons, William Platter, Star Route, Frostburg; Howard Platter, Jr., at home; a daughter, Mrs. Mary McKenzie, Star Route, Frostburg; two brothers, James Weimer, Flintstone, and Marshall Weimer, Cumberland; five sisters, Mrs. Leona Blocker and Mrs. Martha Pfaff, both of Frostburg; Mrs. Edna Wallizer, Flintstone; Mrs. Ruth Sowers and Mrs. June Evans, both of Hagerstown, and nine grandchildren. She was a member of the Church of the Nazarene of Frostburg. The body is at the Newman Funeral Home, in Grantsville. The Cumberland Evening Times, July 24, 1962
