Verna V. McClure, MANASSAS, Va. - Verna V. McClure, 89, of Manassas, formerly of Upper Glade, W.Va., died Jan. 12, 1999, in Annaburg Manor Nursing Home after a long illness.She was former operator of the McClure Grocery Store, Upper Glade, and a Methodist. Surviving: daughter, Kathleen Luchsinger of O'Fallon, Ill.; sons, Troy of Winlock, Wash., Douglas of London, Ky., Merlin "Thomas" of Marshall; sisters, Ruby Cottrill of Upper Glade, Myrtle Woodring of Cowen, W.Va., Rhoda Kilpatrick of Sun City Center, Fla., Georgia Hildreth of Alexandria; 18 grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren.Service will be 11 a.m. Saturday at Morris Funeral Home, Cowen, with the Rev. Okey Wayne officiating. Burial will be in Handschumacher Cemetery, Upper Glade. Friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
