Mt. Savage – Edward A. Lynch, 79, of 411 Oakland Street, Morgantown, W.Va., died Saturday there. Born in Mt. Savage, he was a son of the late Michael and Catherine (Aldridge) Lynch. His wife, Della (McKenzie) Lynch, died in 1946. Mr. Lynch was a retired coal miner and glass blower and was a member of the United Mine Workers and American Flint Glassblowers Union. He was also a member of St. Theresa’s Catholic Church, Morgantown. Surviving are three sons: William F. Lynch, Star City, W.Va.; R. Emmett and Michael Lynch, both of Morgantown; seven daughters, Miss Leora Lynch, at home; Mother Delia Lynch, Louisville Ky.; Mrs. Bertha Lynch, Charleston, W.Va.; Mrs. Ethel Mikelonis, Hollywood, Fla.; Mrs. Myrtle Heiner, Baltimore, and Mrs. June Posey and Mrs. Emma Haught, Star City; three brothers, Charles Lynch, Morgantown; John Lynch, Grafton, W.Va.; and William F. Lynch, Star City, W.Va., and six sisters, Mrs. Mary Ann Nairn, Cumberland; Mrs. Agnes Griffith, Mt. Savage; Mrs. Florence Pugh, Frostburg; Mrs. Catherine Fulkowski, Mrs. Mineola Scheminger and Mrs. Genevieve Walters, all of Baltimore; 23 grandchildren and 25 great-grandchildren.
