Born Jan. 25, 1943, in Cumberland, he was the son of the late Clarence A. "Todd" and Ora Frances (Lease) McKenzie. He also was preceded in death by one brother, John D. McKenzie; and one sister, Rita E. Johnson. Mr. McKenzie was the property manager for Orchard Mews Apartments. He was a former tire builder for Kelly-Springfield Tire Company. He was a 1961 graduate of Allegany High School. Surviving are two daughters, Julie M. Christopher and husband Todd, Cumberland, and Tammy R. Brown and husband Todd, Cresaptown; four granddaughters, Haleigh L. Brown, McKenzie L. Christopher, Paige M. Christopher and Sydney N. Brown; one grandson, Cameron T. Brown; four sisters, Jackie M. Johnson and husband Wayne, Oakland, Marion L. Brown and husband John, Monroeville, Pa., Sonia R. Senn, Ridgeley, W.Va., and Rebecca A. Poole and husband Greg, Appling, Ga.; one brother, Richard A. McKenzie and wife Pat, Cresaptown; and several nieces, nephews and cousins. At Jim's request, there will be no visitation. His funeral services and burial will be private. Memorial contributions may be made to the Potomac Valley Athletic Association or the Cresaptown United Methodist Church. Cumberland Times obituary
