- Mrs. Marie McKenzie, 59, of Center Street, Meyersdale, died Oct. 25 at her home. She was born March 11, 1913, in Confluence, a daughter of the late Grover C. and Maude Lichty Shipley. Surviving are her husband, Orland, and a sister, Miss Avonelle Shipley of Confluence. She was well known in the community, having been an employee of Baer and Co. for 26 years. She was a member of the Meyersdale Women's Club and the American Legion Auxiliary of Meyersdale. Services were conducted Oct. 28 at Price Funeral Home, the Rev. Lloyd Sechriest officiating. Interment was in the Union Cemetery, Meyersdale.
