Donald Eugene McKenzie, 61, Berlin, died May 8, 2008, at Somerset Hospital. Born May 27, 1947, in Meyersdale, son of Grace (Baker) McKenzie, Meyersdale, and the late Royal DeSales McKenzie. Preceded in death by brother, George. Survived by his wife, Lois Jean (Klink) McKenzie; and these children, Randy McKenzie, Meyersdale; and Lori McKenzie, Berlin; and six grandchildren, Kimberly, Kamryn and Kassidy McKenzie, Seth, Zach and Dakota Rugg. He was a brother of Delbert, Elbert, Carl, all of Meyersdale; Ray, Berlin; and Hazel McKenzie, Frostburg, Md. Member of the Somerset Christian Fellowship Church. Veteran of the Vietnam era, member of the Berlin American Legion. Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Saturday, and 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday at the M. Ray Leckemby Funeral Home, Meyersdale. Monday he will be taken to Somerset Christian Fellowship Church to lie in state from 10 to 11 a.m. where the funeral service will be at 11 a.m. with the Rev. Bill Dodson officiating. Interment Greenville Union Cemetery.
