He died on 17 Nov 1977 in Meyersdale, Summit Township, Somerset Co., Pennsylvania. GRANTSVILLE - Howard W. McKenzie, 65, of Star Route, Grantsville, died yesterday at Meyersdale Community Hospital. Born here, he was a son of the late Henry and Ellen (Folk) McKenzie. Mr. McKenzie was a member of Zion Lutheran Church at Jennings. Surviving are his widow, Vera (Wilburn) McKenzie, Wheaton; two sons, Rodney H. and Wayne L. McKenzie, both of RD 1, Monrovia, Md.; a daughter, Mrs. Ellen A. McKenzie, Miami, Fla.; two brothers, Harley, of here, and Roy McKenzie, North Industry, Ohio; three sisters, Mrs. Nellie Kinsinger, Confluence, Pa.; Mrs. Mabel Barnett, Cowan, W.Va., and Mrs. Myrtle Zimmerman, Scottdale, Pa., and seven grandchildren. The body is at the Newman Funeral Home where friends will be received from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. Services will be conducted there tomorrow at 2 p.m. by Rev. James Mitchell. Howard W. McKenzie, 65, of Star Route, Grantsville, Md., died Thursday, November 17, at Meyersdale Community Hospital. Born in Grantsville, he was a son of the late Henry and Ellen (Folk) McKenzie.
