Born in New Germany, she was a daughter of the late Henry and Sarah (Duckworth) Broadwater, and was the widow of Marshall Durst. She was a member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church. Surviving are a son, Harold Durst, Grantsville; a sister, Miss Bertha Broadwater, Lonaconing Md.; five grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. The Republic, May 19, 1977
GRANTSVILLE — Mrs. Della E. Durst, 91, died Monday at Meyersdale Community Hospital. Born in New Germany, she was a daughter of the late Henry and Sarah (Duckworth) Broadwater, and was the widow of Marshall Durst. She was a member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church. Surviving are a son, Harold Durst, here; a sister, Miss Bertha Broadwater, Lonaconing; five grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. The body is at the Newman Funeral Home, where friends will be received from 2 until 4 and 7 until 9 p.m. A service will be conducted there tomorrow at 2 p.m. Mrs. Sadie Triplett will officiate and interment will be in Grantsville Cemetery.
