She was born July 12, 1924, in Meyersdale, a daughter of the late Lewis and Anna (Steinley) McKenzie. She was preceded in death by one brother and four sisters. She is survived by her husband, Haywood; one son, John, Florida; and a daughter, Mrs. Linda Hill of Cleveland, Ohio; also two grandchildren. She was a sister of Robert, Silver Lakes, Ind.; Albert, Wellersburg; Stanley, Avon, Ohio; Roy, Zenia, Ohio; Mrs. Violet Finnamore, Fairmont, W.Va.; and Mrs. Leola Burkett, Corrigansville, Md. Friends were received at the Price Funeral Home, Meyersdale, where services were conducted with the Rev. Lloyd Wilson officiating. Interment, Greenville Union Cemetery. The Republic, April 21, 1983
