Mrs. Florence Mae Kerschensteiner, 60, of Somerset, died at 5 p.m. Friday in Somerset Community Hospital. She was born May 18, 1899, at Indian Head, a daughter of the late Joseph and Rachel McKenzie Miller. She was a member of the Somerset First Christian Church. Surviving are her husband, Frank Kerschensteiner; four daughters, Mrs. Rachel Christner of New Jersey, Mrs. Idella Critchfield and Mrs. Betty Maust, both of Somerset; and Mrs. Thelma Snyder of Berlin; eight grandchildren; three sisters, Mrs. Melinda Jurca of Acosta, Mrs. Sarah Merrbach of Maryland, and Mrs. Margaret Yon of Altoona; one brother, Leo S. Miller of Somerset. The body will be at the Miller funeral home in Somerset after 7 p.m. today where the service will be held at 2 p.m. Monday with the Rev. Paul Weber officiating. Burial will be in Mt. Nebo Cemetery. The Daily Courier, Connellsville, March 5, 1960 She was buried on 7 Mar 1960 in Mt. Nebo Cemetery, Champion, Pennsylvania.
