Doris and Clem loved to dance together and were very active in square and round dancing and instructed for many years. Dance events were a major activity for them and took them all around Alberta and Canada to Europe and the U.S. where they made lifelong friendships. In her spare time, Doris kept busy with all sorts of crafting with her big love being quilting and crocheting. She was forever thinking of those in need and spent over 800 hours making items for charities across the city. Receiving a quilt from Doris was like getting one of her warm hugs. She also loved writing poetry and gifted many friends and family with her lighthearted poems and stories. Doris was a much loved presence in our lives and will be dearly missed and forever remembered. Cremation has taken place and a small service will follow at a later date.
