FROSTBURG - Harold William Blocher, 80, of Largo, Fla., formerly of Frostburg, died Thursday, Nov. 1, 1990, at Morton Plant Hospital, Clearwater, Fla. He was born in Frostburg. Mr. Blocher was a still operator for 45 years at the Celanese plant near Cumberland. He was an Army veteran of World War II; a member of Egypt Shrine Temple, Tampa, Fla.; American Legion Turner-Brandon Post, Clearwater; Mountain Lodge No. 99, AF&AM, Frostburg; and Order of the Eastern Star, Frostburg. He was of the Lutheran faith. Surviving are his widow, Helen S. Blocher; one brother, Willard Blocher, Frostburg; and several nieces and nephews. Cumberland Times-News, Wednesday, November 7, 1990
