He died on 10 Apr 1973 in Frostburg, Allegany Co., Maryland. FROSTBURG — W. Clifford Bennett, 65, of Eckhart, died yesterday at Frostburg Community Hospital. A native of Eckhart, he was a son of the late Cleaver C. and Josephine (Carter) Bennett. Mr. Bennett was a retired coal miner and farmer and a member of the Eckhart United Methodist Church. Surviving are his widow, Mrs. Ethel (Knepp) Bennett; one son, Robert C. Bennett, Eckhart; two sisters, Mrs. Edith Fredin, Auburn, Mass., and Mrs. Emma Brewer, here, and one grandchild. The body is at the Durst Funeral Home here where friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. A service will be conducted there tomorrow at 1:30 p.m. Rev. Donald Russell and Rev. Steven Washburn will officiate. Interment will be in the Porter Cemetery, Eckhart. Pallbearers will be Richard Peterson, James Minnick, William Engle, Ervin Skidmore, Harry D.
