A native of Cumberland, he was a son of the late James and Nellie (Chandler) Stratton. Surviving are his widow Myrtle A. (Blocker) Stratton; a son, Donald E. Stratton, Hollywood, Fla., and three grandchildren. The body is at the Leasure Stein Funeral Home, where friends will be received today fom 7 until 9 p.m. and tomorrow from 2 until 4 and 7 until 9 p.m. The Cumberland News, October 18, 1973.
