Mrs. Bertha McKenzie, 86, of Meyersdale R. D. 3, died at her home. Born in Garrett Co., Md., she was the daughter of Thomas and Maggie Bittner Johnson. She was preceded in death by her husband, William McKenzie. Surviving are a son, Eugene, of Boynton, Pa.; two daughters, Mrs. Sarah Knepp and Mrs. Ellis Sturtz, both of Meyersdale; seven grandchildren and 22 great-grandchildren, and a sister, Mrs. Richard McKenzie, of Frostburg, Md. MEYERSDALE-Mrs. Bertha McKenzie, 86, of Meyersdale RD I, died Tuesday at her home. Born in Garrett County, Md., she was the daughter of the late Thomas and Maggie (Bittner) Johnson. She was preceded in death by her husband, William McKenzie. Surviving are a son, Eugene McKenzie, Boynton, Pa.; two daughters, Mrs. Sarah Knepp, Meyersdale, and Mrs. Ellis Sturtz, both of Meyersdale RD 4; seven grandchildren and 22 great-grandchildren, and a sister, Mrs. Richard McKenzie, RD 2, Frostburg. The body is at the Price Funeral Home where friends will be received after 7 p. m. today. The rosary will be recited there at 7:30 p. m. tomorrow. A service will be conducted there Friday at 10 a. m. by Rev. John Orlando. Interment will be in Pocahontas Cemetery.
