She died on 6 Oct 1980 in Berlin, Brothersvalley Township, Somerset Co., Pennsylvania. Elsie G. Landis, 84, of Berlin, formerly of Boswell, died Oct. 6, 1980, in Berlin. She was born July 5, 1896, in Greenville Township a daughter of the late Joshua and Armanda (Arkley) McKenzie. She was preceded in death by her husband, Elmer. She is survived by these children: Carl of North Huntingdon; William of Boswell RD 1; and Elmer of Bedford. A sister of Raymond of Ravenna, Ohio; Harold of Meyersdale RD 3; Mrs. Edna McKenzie of Cadiz, Ky.; and Mrs. Velma Werner of Finzel, Md. Also, 9 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren. She was a member of the Rebekah Lodge, past Noble Grand, past member American Legion Auxiliary, Boswell. Friends were received at the Price Funeral Home, Meyersdale, where services were conducted with the Rev. George Bowersox officiating. Interment, Union Cemetery. The Republic, Meyersdale, October 16, 1980
She was buried in Union Cemetery, Summit Township, Somerset Co., Pennsylvania.
