- Baby boy Steinly, Meyersdale Route 3, born dead of prematurity in the Hazel McGilvery Hospital at 12:30 p.m. on Sunday, July 27th. The parents are Elnora (McKenzie) Steinly and Ralph Steinly. Another child, Paul, also survives. Interment in the Greenville Cemetery the same day, in charge of Stanley M. Thomas, Salisbury mortician. Meyersdale Republican, July 31, 1947. He was buried on 27 Jul 1947 in Greenville Cemetery, Pocahontas, Somerset Co., Pennsylvania.
