Lewis Henry McKenzie, 65, of 424 North Mechanic Street, laboratory worker at the Celanese plant, died yesterday at Allegany Hospital where he had been a patient two months. He was born in Somerset, Pa., son of the late Francis, and Leah (Warner) McKenzie. His wife, Anna Steinla McKenzie, died in 1937. Mr McKenzie was a member of St. Patrick's Catholic Church and the Loyal Order of Moose. Survivors include six daughters, Mrs. Violet Patrick, Fairmont, W. Va.; Mrs. Leola Burkett, Corriganville; Mrs. Frances Baker, Meyersdale, Pa.; Mrs. Alda Baker, Dayton, Ohio; Mrs. Mary McKenzie, and Mrs. Eleanor McKenzie, both of Richmond, Ind.; five sons, Raymond, Lorraine, Ohio; Robert, Meyersdale; Albert, Wellersburg, Pa.; Stanley, Lorraine, and Pvt. Roy McKenzie, U. S. Army, Wisconsin; three brothers, Francis, Hyndman, Pa.; Thomas, Finzel, and Joseph, Frostburg; a sister, Mrs. Etta Bolden, Meyersdale; and 19 grandchildren. The body is at the Hafer Funeral Home. The Cumberland Evening Times, November 6, 1950.
He is buried in the Greenville Cemetery, Pocahontas, Pennsylvania.
