He was born near here on April 8, 1900, and was a son of the late Sampson and Barbara Ebaugh McKenzie. Mr. McKenzie is survived by his wife, Mrs. Mabel Orndoff McKenzie; two sons, John A. McKenzie, Jr., Salisbury; James McKenzie, Dodge City, Kansas; a daughter, Mrs. Roy Kane, Wilmington; five brothers, Thomas A., Simon P., both of Meyersdale; Leo G., Meadville; Edward, St. Petersburg, Fla.; Robert, Libertyville, Illinois; two sisters, Mrs. Rose Gates, New Orleans; Miss Catherine, Chicago; 14 grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
