- FINZEL — Betty Grace (Werner) McKenzie, 96, was taken to her heavenly home Tuesday, July 13, 2021. She was born Sept. 21, 1924, to the late John and Rose Finzel Werner, and lived her days out in her home in Finzel. Betty was finally reunited with her husband, Austin Joseph 'Tip' McKenzie, and her son, John Joseph McKenzie; daughter-in-law, Tracy; siblings, Cecil, Joe, Nelson, Bob and Effie. Friends will be received at Durst Funeral Home, 57 Frost Ave., Frostburg, on Thursday, July 15, 2021, from 5 to 9 p.m. Pastor Dan Agnew will help us say goodbye at the funeral home on Friday, July 16, 2021, at 11 a.m. Interment will be in Finzel Cemetery. Special thanks go to Garrett County Hospice and her caregivers, Jenny, Brenda, Stephanie, Tracy, Donna, Lisa, McKayla, Grace and Kelly. Cumberland Times-News, July 15, 2021
