- Angus A. McKenzie, 62, died Wednesday at his home in Salisbury; he was born in Garrett county, Md., May 20, 1888, a son of Sabius and Anna Chaney McKenzie. His mother survives and lives in Oakland, Md. Surviving also are his wife, Caroline Merbaugh McKenzie, and the following children: Henry and Wilbur McKenzie and Mrs. Lucille Werner, all of Salisbury; Ernest McKenzie, Meyersdale; and Mrs. Leona Oester, Salisbury RFD 1. Also, two brothers and two sisters, James and Raymond McKenzie of Avilton, Md., Mrs. Dora Durst, New Germany, Md., and Mrs. Mary Cochrane, Salisbury. He was a member of St. Michael's Catholic Church, West Salisbury, where requiem mass will be recited by Father Joseph O'Toole Saturday at 10 a.m. Burial in the Catholic cemetery at Avilton, Md. Somerset Daily American, June 15, 1950
He was buried on 17 Jun 1950 in St. Ann's Catholic Cemetery, Avilton, Garrett Co., Maryland.
