She died on 21 Sep 1966 at the age of 85 in Frostburg, Allegany Co., Maryland. GRANTSVILLE - Mrs. Dora H. Durst, 85, daughter of the late Sadris and Annie (Chaney) McKenzie, died at Miners Hospital, Frostburg, yesterday. She was born at Avilton, May 4, 1881. Her husband was the late Charles Durst. Surviving are three sons, Raymond and Lawrence Durst, here, and Everett Durst, Frostburg; two daughters, Mrs. Carrie Britt, Frostburg, and Mrs. Laura Wilhelm, Lonaconing; one sister, Mrs. Mary Cochran; Salisbury, Pa.; one brother, Raymond McKenzie, Lonaconing; 21 grandchildren; 27 great-grandchildren and five step-grandchildren. She was a member of St. Ann's Catholic Church, Avilton, and the Confraternity of Christian Mothers. Requiem mass will be celebrated Saturday at 10 a.m. at St. Ann's Church. Interment will be in New Germany Cemetery. The body is at the Newman Funeral Home where friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. The rosary will be recited there tomorrow at 8 p.m. The Cumberland Evening Times, September 22, 1966
