Martha is lovingly remembered by her three children: Reg (Marlene) Samis of Drayton Valley, AB; Doreen Berard of Red Deer, AB; and Eldon Samis of Bon Accord, AB; by 10 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren and 4 great-great-grandchildren, also by a sister-in-law Kathleen (Babs) Stein of Edmonton, AB and numerous nieces and nephews. Martha was predeceased by her husband Herschel in 1972, a son Marvin, also her parents, 6 brothers and a sister. Funeral Service May 25 from the Good Shepherd Community Fellowship in Bon Accord. Interment in Bon Accord Cemetery. Martha married Herschel Marvin SAMIS.36 Herschel was born on 9 Apr 1908 in Exelsior, AB, CAN,37 died on 7 Sep 1972 in Bon Accord, AB, CAN37 at age 64, and was buried in Bon Accord, AB, CAN.37 {FGID: 43709842} They had four children: Reg, Eldon, Marvin Lloyd, and Doreen Fay. He leaves to mourn his loss besides his loving wife, Martha; two sons, Reg of Drayton Valley, Alberta, and Eldon of R R 1, Bon Accord, Alberta, one daughter, Mrs. Lionel (Doreen) Berard of Red Deer, Alberta; ten grandchildren. Mr. Samis was predeceased by one son, Marvin Lloyd. Funeral services will be on September 9th at the Bon Accord United Church. Interment in the Bon Accord Cemetery.
