Frostburg, December 11 - Mrs. Barbara M. Raley, 56, widow of Clarence Raley, of Finzel, died this morning at Miners Hospital where she was admitted Saturday night. Death was caused by pneumonia. Surviving are four sons, George Raley, of Meyersdale, Pa.; Pfc. John Raley, with the Army in Japan; Pfc. Albert Raley, with the Army in Germany; and Pvt. Gordon Raley, of Camp Pickett, Va.; five daughters, Mrs. Verna McKenzie, Mrs. Dorothy Arnold and Mrs. Evelyn McKenzie, all of Frostburg; Mrs. Virginia Lint, of Boynton, Pa., and Miss June Raley, at home; seven step-children: Mrs. Charles Day, Mrs. Mary Minnick, and Edward, Thomas and Raymond Raley, all of Frostburg; Patrick Raley of Johnson City, N. Y.; Mrs. Ruth Fate, of Boynton, Pa.; five brothers: Alban and Patrick McKenzie, of Frostburg; Jesse and Noah McKenzie, of Meyersdale; and Sebastian, of Avilton; and two sisters, Miss Myrtle McKenzie, of Meyersdale; and Mrs. Emma Murray, of Avilton. Clarence Moses RALEY (son of Charles Edward RALEY and Drucilla HUTZEL/HUTZELL) was born on 11 Nov 1880 in Swanton, Garrett Co., Maryland. He died on 13 Jan 1944 in Frostburg, Allegany Co., Maryland. Frostburg, Md., Jan. 13 - Clarence Raley, a farmer of near Finzel, Garrett county, died this morning in Miners' Hospital where he was admitted yesterday. Surviving are his widow and several children.
