- FROSTBURG — Mrs. Martha Ellen McKenzie, 63, Finzel Road, was dead on arrival Thursday at Miners Hospital, Frostburg. Born in Finzel, she was a daughter of the late George and Nancy (Albright) Caton. She was a member of Emmanuel Methodist Church. Surviving, in addition to her husband, Clarence M. McKenzie, are a daughter, Mrs. Richard Pape, Hagerstown; a son, Clarence McKenzie Jr., Finzel; two brothers, Clifford Caton, Baltimore (sic - only one brother's name appeared in the obit); two sisters, Mrs. Ona McKenzie, Finzel, and Mrs. Walter Baker, Cumberland, and two grandchildren. The body is at the Durst Funeral Home where friends will be received today from 7 until 9 p. m. and tomorrow from 2 until 4 and 7 until 9 p. m. A service will be conducted there Monday at 1:30 p. m. Rev. Emory A. McGraw will officiate and interment will be in Johnson Cemetery.

Surviving are her husband, Clarence M. McKenzie; a daughter, Mrs. Richard Pape, Hagerstown; a son, Clarence McKenzie Jr., Finzel; also two grandchildren. She was a sister of Clifford Caton, Baltimore; Mrs. Ona McKenzie, Finzel; and Mrs. Walter Baker, Cumberland. Funeral service was held on Monday afternoon at Durst Funeral Home, Frostburg, with Rev. Emory A. McGraw officiating. Interment was made in Johnson cemetery.
