She was born in Avilton, Maryland on Janyuary 25,1911, Daughter of the late Andrew McKenzie and Emma May (Croft) McKenzie. She was a former employee of Lonaconing Silk Mill for 35 years, Lonaconing,Maryland.
Preceded in death by her husband Elbert Wilbur Green, by one son, Alvin C. Green, two sisters, Becky McCluckey and Nora Crowe and three brothers. Francis McKenzie, Bernard McKenzie and William McKenzie.
