Zachariah McKenzie - Cumberland Evening Times, Saturday, May 18, 1935 Avilton, Md. May 18 - Zachariah McKenzie, a pioneer farmer of Garrett County, in which he lived all his life, died early yesterday at his home in Avilton. He had been active until stricken by pneumonia three days ago. Surviving are his two sons, Thomas and Joseph, Avilton, and three daughters, Mrs. Grant Deibler and Mrs. William Garlitz, Finzel, Md., and Mrs. Charles Warn, Grantsville.
