- George Martin McKenzie, 78, Triple Lakes, died at his home yesterday after an illness of five weeks. He was an employe of the Celanese plant and was a member of the Mennonite Church at Pinto. Surviving are his widow, Mrs. Susie (Benn) McKenzie; three daughters, Mrs. Walter Wertz, Pinto; Mrs. Bruce Blauch, Ridgeley, W. Va.; Mrs. Alice Blauch, at home; one son, Lester J. McKenzie, at home; four brothers, Edward, Morgantown, W. Va.; Taylor, Walter and John McKenzie, Westernport; one sister, Mrs. I. L. Van Meter, Ridgeley. Seventeen grandchildren and four great-grandchildren also survive. Funeral services will be held Friday in the Mennonite church, Pinto, with the Rev. Roy Otto, Springs, Pa., officiating. Interment will be in the Mennonite Cemetery, Pinto. The Cumberland Evening Times, October 22, 1942.
