- From death certificate obtained by Don Kagle: Sarah "Sallie" Spencer, wife of Daniel McKenzie, died April 25, 1899, in Cresaptown.
Mrs. Sallie McKenzie, widow of Daniel McKenzie, died yesterday morning at Cresaptown, aged 72 years. The funeral took place this afternoon. Six grown children survive, including J.N. McKenzie, of this city, a salesman in the store of the Daughtrey Company. Cumberland Evening Times, May 3, 1899
She is buried in the Methodist Church Cemetery, Cresaptown, Allegany County, Maryland.
