Mrs. Lillian E. McKenzie, 70, native of Cumberland, died this morning at the residence of her son, John F. Nimick, Hancock, after an illness of ten days. She had moved to Hancock four months ago. Her parents were the late James and Sarah McKenzie. In addition to her son, Mrs. McKenzie is survived by three sisters, Mrs. Susan Wickard, Mrs. Mamie Zink, and Mrs. Bernadette C. Hoenicka, city, and five grandchildren. The body is at the Kight Funeral Home. The Cumberland Evening Times, September 8, 1952.
A requiem mass for Mrs. Lillian E. McKenzie, 70, who died Monday at the home of her son, John F. Nimick, was celebrated yesterday at SS. Peter and Paul Church. Rev. Thomas W. Caulfield, pastor of St. Peter's Church, Hancock, officiated and interment was in Rose Hill Cemetery. Pallbearers were James Bensel, Robert Andres, Edward Raiva, Jack Brode, Gerald Null and Frank Powers. (No source listed)
