    Memorial Hospital. Born Oct. 23, 1918 in Mount Savage, he was the son of the late Robert Aldridge and Ida Pearl (Logue) Aldridge Mock. He was preceded in death by his wife Marcella F. (Logsdon) Aldridge on July 24, 1971. Mr. Aldridge was a retired employee of the Kelly-Springfield Tire Company and an Army veteran of World War II where he served in the European Theatre. He was a member of Local 26 United Rubber Workers of America and was of the Methodist faith. Survivors include two sons, Charles “Randy” Aldridge, Corriganville; John Aldridge; two daughters, Marsha Phillips, Pittsburgh, Pa.; Pamela Aldridge; a niece with whom he resided, Judy A. (Hogamier) Parks and her husband, Gerald; one brother, Clyde “Dick” Aldridge, Springfield, W.Va.; two sisters, Willa S. Brown, Cumberland; Evelyn Shroyer, Baltimore; seven grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Friends will be received at the Durst Funeral Home. Services will be conducted there Monday at 11 a.m. by the Rev. Leroy Logsdon. Interment will be at Rocky Gap Veterans Cemetery.     Notes:

    Three persons, including a mother and daughter from Mt. Savage, were killed and 13 injured in four separate motor vehicle accidents yesterday and Friday. Dead are Mrs. Anna Mae Logsdon, 65, Mt. Savage; Mrs. Marcella Flo Aldridge, 41, Mt. Savage, daughter of Mrs. Logsdon, Kenneth Richard Hose, 19, Moorefield. Mrs. Logsdon and Mrs. Aldridge were fatally injured about 2:30 p.m. yesterday on May's Curve, Route 42, about a mile south of Maysville, W. Va., when the foreign compact car operated by Mrs. Aldridge and rounding a turn went across the center line and struck a 1971 pickup truck operated by Philo L. Mongold of Alexandria, Va., a native of Maysville. Mrs. Logsdon was dead on arrival at Grant Memorial Hospital, Petersburg. Mrs. Aldridge died 15 minutes after being admitted, attaches said.
    Two Children Hurt
    Mrs. Aldridge's two children, John, 11, and Pamela, 13, were injured in the accident and taken to Memorial Hospital here where they are in the intensive care unit. Mr. Mongold was not injured. Hospital attaches said the Aldridge boy is in serious condition with injuries to both legs and the head, while his sister is in fair condition with a head injury. Mrs. Logsdon was born in Mt. Savage, a daughter of the late John L. and Janet Elliott Bridges. She is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Helen Uncapher, Bowling Green; and Mrs. Joan Clauson, Corriganville; two sons, Edward I. Logsdon and Lewis K. Logsdon, both of Mt. Savage; two brothers, Edgar Bridges, Mt. Savage; Robert Bridges, Elkins, W.Va.; a sister, Mrs. Benona Loar, Mt. Savage; 13 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. The body will be at the Durst Funeral Home, Frostburg. Mrs. Aldridge was born in Mt. Savage and was a daughter of Mrs. Logsdon and the late Marshall Logsdon. She was a member of the United Methodist Church. She is survived by her husband, Charles H. Aldridge; two daughters, Mrs. Marsha Phillips, Morgantown; Miss Pamela Aldridge, at home; two sons, Charles R. Aldridge, Mt.     MT. SAVAGE - Marshall Logsdon, 66, of Slabtown Road, died Saturday in Memorial Hospital where he had been admitted December 29. He had been in failing health several years. He was a constable-at-large in Allegany County and a former employe at Amcelle plant of Celanese Fibers Company. He was born in Eckhart, a son of the late James E. and Sophia (Michaels) Logsdon. Mr. Logsdon is survived by his widow, Mrs. Anna M. (Bridges) Logsdon; three daughters, Mrs. Marcella Aldridge, Mt. Savage; Mrs. Helen Uncapher, Bowling Green, and Mrs. Joan Clauson, Corriganville; two sons, Edward P. and Louis K. Logsdon, Mt. Savage; one sister, Mrs. Catherine Catherman, Eckhart; two brothers, Louis Logsdon, Waterford, Mich., and Olen B. Logsdon, Rawlings; 13 grandchildren and one great-grandchild. The body is at the Durst Funeral Home, Frostburg, where friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Services will be conducted in the funeral home Tuesday at 2 p.m. Rev. Richard Barley will officiate and interment will be in Eckhart Cemetery. Pallbearers will be John Helmick, William Morgan, James Beal, David Morris, Carl Mulligan and Stephen Boyle.

    District highway accidents over the weekend claimed the lives of three persons, and at least a dozen other persons were injured. Dead are James E. Logsdon, 80-year-old Eckhart resident, who was killed instantly early yesterday morning when struck by a car operated by Ronald Glenn Harden, of Morgantown; Mrs. Betty Ruth (Price) Malone, 31, of near Fort Ashby, and Lloyd Earl Johnson, 7, of Morgantown. Tfc. Donald R. Wade said the Harden car struck the elderly man as he was crossing the highway at the Route 40-Frog Hollow Road intersection. Logsdon was struck by the right front fender of the vehicle and hurled against a guardrail along the highway. The body of Logsdon, a retired Baltimore and Ohio Railroad employee, is at the Hafer Funeral Home, Frostburg, where services will be conducted tomorrow at 2 p. m. by Rev. Brooks Henry, pastor of Eckhart Baptist Church. Interment will be in Eckhart Cemetery. He was the last surviving member of his immediate family. His wife was the late Mrs. Sophia (Michaels) Logsdon. Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Clair Catherman, with whom he resided; three sons, Olen B. Logsdon, Ridgeley; Louis Logsdon, Mt. Clemens, Mich., and Marshall Logsdon, Mt. Savage; nine grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren. He was a member of the Junior OUAM Lodge. The Cumberland Evening Times, February 27, 1956
