    CRESAPTOWN — Herbert L. Logsdon, 52, a former resident, died yesterday of a heart attack at his home in Front Royal, Va. He had been in ill health for a year. A native of Mt. Savage, he was a son of James Logsdon, Eckhart, and the late Sophia (Michael) Logsdon. Surviving are his widow, Mrs. Flora (Hansel) Logsdon; a son, Harold Logsdon, Westernport; a daughter, Mrs. Leona Fazenbaker, Cresaptown; three brothers, Olin Logsdon, Ridgeley; Louis Logsdon, Mount Clemens, Mich., and Marshall Logsdon, Mt. Savage; a sister, Mrs. Catherine Catherman, Eckhart, and six grandchildren. The body will arrive tomorrow and be taken to the Hafer Funeral Home, Frostburg.

    FROSTBURG - Mrs. Flora E. Logsdon, 85, formerly of here, died Saturday in Baltimore, where she resided with her daughter, Mrs. Leona Fazenbaker. Born in Oakland, she was a daughter of the late David Hansel and Jane (Clark) Hansel. Mrs. Logsdon was a member of First English Baptist Church. Her husband was the late Herbert Logsdon. Besides her daughter, survivors include one son, Harold Logsdon, Cumberland; one sister, Mrs. Mary Martens, Eckhart; three brothers, Harry Hansel, here; Edgar Hansel, Eckhart; Ervin Hansel, Baltimore; eight grandchildren, 26 great-grandchildren and five great-great-grandchildren. Friends will be received at the Sowers Funeral Home Monday and Tuesday from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m.

    District highway accidents over the weekend claimed the lives of three persons, and at least a dozen other persons were injured. Dead are James E. Logsdon, 80-year-old Eckhart resident, who was killed instantly early yesterday morning when struck by a car operated by Ronald Glenn Harden, of Morgantown; Mrs. Betty Ruth (Price) Malone, 31, of near Fort Ashby, and Lloyd Earl Johnson, 7, of Morgantown. Tfc. Donald R. Wade said the Harden car struck the elderly man as he was crossing the highway at the Route 40-Frog Hollow Road intersection. Logsdon was struck by the right front fender of the vehicle and hurled against a guardrail along the highway. The body of Logsdon, a retired Baltimore and Ohio Railroad employee, is at the Hafer Funeral Home, Frostburg, where services will be conducted tomorrow at 2 p. m. by Rev. Brooks Henry, pastor of Eckhart Baptist Church. Interment will be in Eckhart Cemetery. He was the last surviving member of his immediate family. His wife was the late Mrs. Sophia (Michaels) Logsdon. Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Clair Catherman, with whom he resided; three sons, Olen B. Logsdon, Ridgeley; Louis Logsdon, Mt. Clemens, Mich., and Marshall Logsdon, Mt.
