MOSCOW — Christopher C. Crawford, 64, died yesterday in Potomac Valley Hospital, Keyser, where he had been a patient two weeks. Born at Mt. Savage, he was a son of the late Nathan and Jane (Winebrenner) Crawford. He was a member of the Assembly of God Church. He is survived by his widow, Rose (Green) Crawford; two daughters, Mrs. Myrtle Bills, and Mrs. Della Bardo, both of Rochester, N. Y.; five sons, Lester and Raymond, both of Barton; Christopher Jr., Midland; Roy, Baltimore, and David Crawford, Philadelphia, Pa.; three sisters, Mrs. Elizabeth Hyde and Mrs. Rose Hyde, both of Moscow, and Mrs. Stella Reel, Cascade, W. Va.; two brothers, Elmer, Terra Alta, W. Va., and Hillary Crawford, Ohio, and 13 grandchildren. The body will be taken to the Assembly of God Church in Lonaconing Saturday at noon. Services will be conducted there at 2:30 p. m. by Rev. E. C. Hunt, pastor. Burial will be in Laurel Hill Cemetery. The body is at the Eichhorn Funeral Home, Lonaconing. Lonaconoing - Funeral services for Mrs. Sarah Jane Crawford, 55 years old, of Moscow, this county, who died in Miners Hospital, Frostburg, Tuesday, will be held from the Pentacostal Church, here, Friday afternoon at 2 o'clock with burial in Laurel Hill Cemetery, Moscow. Rev. Shewbridge, pastor, will officiate. Mrs. Crawford died following an operation for the amputation of a leg, which followed the amputation of the other one, with pneumonia held as partly responsible for her demise. She was a daughter of the late Susannah and James Winebrenner of Mt. Savage. She lived in Moscow for 13 years, going there from Mt. Savage. She leaves three daughters, Mrs. Elmer Broadwater, Moscow; Mrs. Gibson Matthews, Morgantown, W. Va.; and Mrs. Albion Hyde, Moscow, and three sons, Christopher and Hileary, Moscow, and Elmer Crawford, Morgantown. The Cumberland Evening Times, March 6, 1930

He died on 5 Apr 1910 at the age of 71 in Mount Savage, Allegany Co., Maryland. Mt. Savage - Mr. John Winebrenner, in poor health for the last few years, died Tuesday morning (5 Apr.) at 6 o'clock. The following children survive: Jesse Winebrenner, Stewart Winebrenner, Thomas Winebrenner, Lawrence Winebrenner, William Winebrenner and Mrs. Nathan Crawford. The funeral is this afternoon and interment in the Porter Cemetery near Eckhart. Cumberland Evening Times, April 7, 1910
