Daniel Thomas Leatherman Jr., 62, of 8009 Baltimore Avenue, Baltimore, died Saturday at Maryland General Hospital there. Born in Frostburg, he was a son of Mrs. Hannah (Folk) Leatherman, National, and the late Daniel T. Leatherman Sr. Mr. Leatherman was an Army veteran of World War II. A resident of Baltimore for the past 30 years, he was retired from the Bethlehem Steel Company and owned the Corner Bar in Baltimore. Besides his mother, he is survived by his widow, the former Edna Dotson; two daughters, Mrs. Susan Payton and Mrs. Donna Walker, and one son, Daniel W. Leatherman, all of Baltimore; three sisters, Mrs. Bertha Morrison, Memphis, Tenn.; Mrs. Betty Shumate and Mrs. Elaine Anderson, both of National; three grandsons and one granddaughter. Friends may call at the Charles S. Zeiler and Son Funeral Home, Inc., 6224 Eastern Avenue at Folcroft Street, Baltimore, Monday from 2 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. Services will be conducted at the funeral home Tuesday at 11 a.m., with interment in Oak Lawn Cemetery, Baltimore. Folk, died this morning in Miners hospital, Frostburg, following a lingering illness. She was a daughter of the late Mose and Anna (Madden) Logsdon. Surviving are three sons, Charles Folk, Eckhart; John Folk, Cumberland; and Roy Folk, Mt. Savage; four daughters, Mrs. Edna Rayner, Lonaconing; Mrs. Hannah Leatherman, National; and Mrs. Ada Lemmert and Mrs. Emma Izzat, both of Mt. Savage; two brothers, Joseph and Hiram Logsdon, both of Frostburg; 49 grandchildren; 32 great-grandchildren and a great-great-grandchild.
