Clara E. Burley, 87, of Hyndman, formerly of Ellerslie, Md., died Nov. 15, 1995, at Memorial Hospital, Cumberland, Md. Born Sept. 9, 1908, at Fairhope, she was a daughter of the late Silas and Martha (Emerick) Shroyer. Preceded in death by her husband, Floyd N. Burley, on June 16, 1984; a son, Melvin Baker; a granddaughter, Juanieta Dom; four brothers and four sisters. She was the last surviving member of her immediate family. Mrs. Burley was a homemaker and had attended Calvary Bible Church, Ellerslie, Md. Surviving are a son, Junior W. Grenke, Chambersburg RD 4; a daughter, Mayme Ellen Brick, Hyndman Rd 1; 13 grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren, a great-great-grandson, and two step-great-grandchildren. Friends will be received at the Harvey H. Zeigler Funeral Home, Hyndman, from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Friday. Services will be conducted at the funeral home at 1 p.m. Saturday, with the Rev. Rick D. Nelson officiating. Interment, Lybarger Cemetery at Madley. Memorials may be sent to Hyndman Area Rescue Squad or a charity of one's choice. Daily American, Somerset, November 17, 1995
