    MRS. CHAS. GRUBAUGH DIES AT THE FAMILY HOME

    "Mrs. Mary Grubaugh, 65, passed away at 4:30 a.m. Wednesday, Dec. 26 at the family home at 114 East Randolph street, Vandalia. She was born July 16, 1886 in Loudon township, the daughter of the late Daniel Logue and Stacey McKenzie Logue, and had been a lifelong resident of Fayette county, the past 25 or more years a resident of Vandalia."

    "She and Charles Grubaugh were married in 1903. He survives as do also eight children: Mrs. Esta Kline of Altamont; Willie of St. Elmo, and the following all of whom reside in Vandalia: Mrs. Ruth Grubaugh, Lewis, Mrs. Olive Ober, Ray, Marshall and Mrs. Betties Smail. One child is deceased. There are several grandchildren and many other relatives."

    "Services will be conducted tomorrow, Friday, Dec. 28 at 1 p.m. in the Free Methodist church by the pastor, Rev. John Rupert. Burial will be made in South Hill cemetery. Miller Funeral service {is} in charge."
