VIOLET LITTLE

"LATHAM--Violet Mae Little, 82, of Latham died at 10:06 p.m. Thursday, April 18, 2002, at Decatur Memorial Hospital, Decatur."

"Mrs. Little was a homemaker. She was also an election judge for Laenna Township."

"She belonged to Latham United Methodist Church, the Sewing Group at Decatur Memorial Hospital and Mount Pulaski Take Off Pounds Sensibly."

"She was born July 8, 1919, in Latham, a daughter of Orval and Mary Canloes Taylor. She married Floyd E. Little Aug. 30, 1938, in Latham. He died Oct. 30, 1975."

"Surviving are two sons, Lloyd Earl Little and Billy Little, both of Latham; one daughter, Nancy Johnson of Ocean Springs, Miss.; two brothers, Bob Taylor of Gibson City and Dale Taylor of Latham; two sisters, Norma Stiles and Betty Horn, both of Decatur; three grandchildren; three stepgrandchildren, and three stepgreat-grandchildren."

"A sister preceded her in death."

"Mrs. Little's funeral will be at 10:30 a.m. Monday at Fricke-Calvert-Schrader Funeral Home, Mount Pulaski, with the Rev. Gilbert Fletcher officiating. Burial will be in Illini Cemetery, Warrensburg."

"Visitation will be an hour before the service Monday."

"Memorials may be made to the American Heart Association or to Latham Fire Department."
