FUNERAL SERVICES WEDNESDAY FOR MURPHYSBORO RESIDENT

"Mrs. Mary Childers, 73, of 2005 Alexander Ave., Murphysboro, died in St. Andrew's Hospital Monday after an extended illness."

"She was born in St. Elmo in 1885."

"She was married to Levi Nance. He preceded her in death. She was later married to Edward Childers, who survives."

"Mrs. Childers also leaves sons Willard Nance of Peoria and Jesse and Ray Nance, both of Murphysboro; daughters, Mrs. Mack Allison of Alto Pass and Mrs. Lawrence Williams of Carterville; 18 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren, and a sister, Mrs. Rachel Little of Mt. Pulaski."

"She was a member of the Church of God in Murphysboro."
