Mr. Troutman was a press operator for Kaiser Refractories and was a member of District 50, UMA. Surviving are his widow, Loretta (Yommer) Troutman; two sons, John Troutman Jr., Eckhart, and Roy E. Troutman, here; three daughters, Mrs. Cecelia Fisher, LaVale, and Mrs. Charlene Knotts and Mrs. Carol Eichhorn, Baltimore; two stepsons, Wayne R. Schrock, here, and Terry R. Schrock, LaVale; three sisters, Mrs. Frances Winebrenner, here, and Mrs. Mary Snyder, Newcomerstown, Ohio, and Mrs. Goldie Wilson, LaVale, and 16 grandchildren. MEYERSDALE, Nov. 12—When young Johnny Troutman and pretty Evelyn Marie Winebrenner said "I do' before the preacher Monday, Ma Troutman shed none of the usual tears and Pa Winebrenner had no fatherly lump in his throat. That's because Ma Troutman, a widow, and Pa Winebrenner, a widower, up and got married, too. And off went the two happy couples to the elder bride's farm near Sand Patch, for their honeymoon.

The likes of that wedding he had never seen, declared Rev. Edgar W. Beckett, of Frostburg, Md., who performed the ceremony. Officials who issue marriage licenses at the Allegany county courthouse at Cumberland, Md., were astounded, too.

For what happened, you see, is that the young groom's mother and the young bride's father had joined their children in a double wedding. It all began when John Edward Troutman, 25, started coming over the mountain from Sand Patch to Frostburg to court Evelyn Marie. As the romance began to flower, Mrs. Cecelia Agnes Troutman naturally got acquainted with her son's sweetheart. Just as naturally, she also got acquainted with Evelyn Marie's father, Roy Raymond Winebrenner, 43, of Frostburg, worker at the brickyard of the Big Savage Refactories Corporation.

Mrs. Troutman was the widow of Amos Troutman, who died in August, 1937. Mr. Winebrenner's wife, the former Bess Porter, had died in January. So young love and middle-aged love flourished side by side, and Monday the double-knot was tied.

Thereby, Mr. Winebrenner acquired a wife, a step-son, a son-in-law, and step-daughter-in-law. Mrs Troutman, in turn acquired a husband, a step-daughter, a daughter- in-lavv, and a step-son-in-law. Johnny acquired a wife, a step-sister, a mother-in-law, and a step-father- in-law And Evelyn Marie, who is 18, acquired a husband, a step-brother, a father-in-law, and a step-mother-in-law. Born in Garrett County, she was the daughter of the late John and Sarah (McKenzie) Winebrenner. Twice married, she was preceded in death by her husband, William A. Troutman and Roy R. Winebrenner. Surviving are a son, John E. Troutman, Frostburg; three daughters, Mrs. Mary Snyder, Newcomerstown, Ohio, and Mrs. Francis Winebrenner and Mrs. Goldie Steele, both of Frostburg; a stepdaughter, Mrs. Flossie Leonard, Mt. Savage; a brother, Lloyd Winebrenner, Borden; a sister, Mrs. Thomas Austin, Meyersdale, Pennsylvania, 10 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. Winebrenner Services – Frostburg – Services for Mrs. Cecelia Winebrenner, 71, of 29 Mechanic Street, who died Thursday at her home, will be conducted tomorrow at 2 p.m. at the Durst Funeral Home. He was a son of the late Thomas and Ida (Porter) Winebrenner, and was employed as a press operator for the Big Savage Refineries. He was a member of Local 190 Brickworkers of America. Besides his widow, he is survived by a son, George Winebrenner, Zihlman: two daughters, Mrs. Flossie Leonard, Mt. Savage, and Mrs. Evelyn Troutman, Grahamtown: a brother, Shannon Winebrenner, Potomac Park; two sisters, Mrs. Tina Winebrenner, and Mrs. Joseph Wolford, both of Borden Mines, and eight grandchildren. The body is at the Durst Funeral Home where services will be conducted tomorrow at 2 p.m. by Rev. Wilbur H. Grose, pastor of the Eckhart Methodist Church. She was 42 years of age and is survived by a husband and 9 children; Henry, Olin, James, Loy A., Rosie, Cecelia, Sallie, Eleanora, Myrtle, and Lucy-all of Big Savage Mountain. Funeral arrangements are in the charge of Gehauf & Mayer. The funeral is Friday at the St Michaels Catholic Church with interment at St Ann's Church on Pea Ridge, Garrett County.

She was buried in St. Anne's Catholic Cemetery, Avilton, Garrett Co., Maryland.
