This document is an Excel spreadsheet compiled by Michael A. McKenzie, the author and webmaster. The information was drawn from the 1880 Federal Census for Allegany County, Maryland. He attempted to take every McKenzie (and spelling variation thereof) and tie that person back to the original ancestor of all McKenzies of Early Maryland, John McKenzie (b. 1687). Other than a few instances, he was able to make the connection for every McKenzie living in Allegany County in 1880.
