- Samuel Grant McKenzie was twice married. His first wife was Susan “Susie” Jenkins, and she died quite young. The son Harry Roy is theirs. After Susan died, Sam G. married Susie’s sister, Caroline “Lina” Jenkins, on Mar 29, 1891. Sam and Lina had two children – Sanford and Meta. Major court battle over the Jenkins property in 1908.
