- LONACONING — Mrs. Lillie M. Grindell, 82, died yesterday at Miners Hospital, Frostburg. She was born in Gilmore, a daughter of the late Thomas and Mary M. (McKenzie) Llewellyn. Her husband, Thomas Grindell, preceded her in death. She was a member of the Methodist Church. Mrs. Grindell is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Herman Kamauff, Lonaconing, and Mrs. Robert Kimpton, Saranac Lake, N. Y.; three grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. The body is at the Eichhorn Funeral Home where friends will he received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. A service will be conducted there tomorrow at 2 p. m. Rev. John 0. Price will officiate and interment will be in Oak Hill Cemetery. The Cumberland News, July 4, 1969
