CUMBERLAND — Glenn Earl Lepley, 59, of Cumberland, died June 28, 2009 at the R. Adams Cowley Shock Trauma Center of the University of Maryland in Baltimore, following complications from a fall. Born June 6, 1950 in Cumberland, he was the son of Earl H. Lepley and Grace (Lotz) Lepley of Mount Savage. Glenn was a heavy equipment operator, a member of Zion Lutheran and Reform Church of Wellersburg, Pa. and Teamsters Local Union 453. His hobby was collecting and fixing Corvettes. In addition to his parents, Glenn is survived by his two sisters, Portia Blank and husband Allen of Mt. Savage and Connie Crabtree and husband Bob of LaVale; one niece, Tina Doman and husband Matthew of LaVale; three nephews, Duane Gomer and wife Crista of Cumberland, Arthur King Jr. and wife Samantha of Flintstone and Earl King and wife Krysta of Cumberland; several great-nephews; and one great-niece. Friends will be received at the Durst Funeral Home P.A., 57 Frost Ave., Frostburg, on Wednesday July 2, 2009 from 5 to 8 p.m. Funeral services will be conducted at the funeral home on Thursday at 11 a.m. with the Rev. Harold Malone officiating. Interment will be in the Rest Lawn Memorial Gardens, LaVale. Pallbearers will be Arthur King Jr., Earl King, Duane Gomer, Bob Crabtree, Allen Blank and Matthew Doman. The family requests memorials be directed to the Feed The Children, P.O. Box 36 Oklahoma, OK 73101 which was Glenn’s favorite charity.
