After the ceremony had been performed, the happy young couple were tendered a supper and reception by the bride's parents, which was attended by a large circle of friends and relatives who extended congratulations and best wishes to the groom and his interesting little bride. After a short honeymoon spent among eastern cities and places of interest, the couple will return and make Avilton their future home. The Evening Times, Cumberland, June 23, 1905 Francis Freeman GARLITZ was born about 1883 in Maryland. He died about 1933. Frostburg, Feb. 9 - Freeman Garlitz, 48, died at Allegany Hospital, Cumberland, Tuesday, following an illness of three weeks of pneumonia. He was taken to the hospital two weeks ago where he underwent an operation. He is survived by his wife, who was Miss Carrie Durst of New Germany, and these children: Lemuel, Pauline, Adell, and Mrs. Martha Bittiinger, at home. Funeral services will be held Saturday at 10 a.m. from St. Ann's Catholic Church, Avilton. Rev. Father Michael, pastor, will officiate. Interment will be in the church cemetery.
