- Barton - Billy R. Timney, 89, of 23106 Royale Lane, Barton, our Dad, went to be with the Lord on Jan. 4, 2011. Born Jan. 28, 1921, in Nikep, he was the son of the late Wm. R. Timney and Della M. (Fairgrieve) Timney. Beill was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Anna B. (McKenzie) Timney; and granddaughter, Amanda A. Clark. Also preceding him in death were two sisters, May Colmer and Lola Lemon, both of Lonaconing; two brothers, James Timney of Tucson, Ariz., and John Timney of Barton. A United States Army veteran of World War II, he served in France and Germany as a staff sergeant. While in France he was the recipient of the Bronze Star of Valory. He retired in 1983 after 30 years of service at Westvaco. He was a member of the Lonaconing V.F.W. and the Barton Post 189 American Legion.He is survived by his children, Bonita Vinci and husband Richard of Barton, Nine Clark and husband Terry of LaVale, Wm. David Timney and wife Catherine of Moscow, and Sherry Fazenbaker and husband Marshall of Lonaconing; his grandchildren, Ursula Sterling, Shawn Vinci, Aaron Clark, Jennifer Woods, Phillip Woods, Regina Spiker, Christa Llewelyn, Marshall Fazenbaker and Eric Fazenbaker, his great-grandchildren, Mandy Bowman, Chassady Redhead and Alyza Woods; and many nieces and nephews, including a special nephew, Robert Lemon. He will be sadly missed. "Our hearts are broken." God bless you Dad, rest in peace. The family will receive friends at the Boal Memorial Chapel, Barton, on Friday, Jan. 7, from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Gabriel's Catholic Church, Barton, on Saturday, Jan. 8, at 11 a.m. with Monsignor James Hannon as celebrant. Interment will be in Laurel Hill Cemetery, Moscow Mills. Pallbearers will be Mack Phillips, Aaron Clark, Robert Lemon, Phillip Woods, David Weir, John Kirkwood and Marshall Fazenbaker.
