- WINNER, Mrs. Raphael Agnes Parker
Mrs. Raphael Agnes Winner, 69, of 713 Glenmore Street, died yesterday in Memorial Hospital. A native of Frostburg, she was a daughter of the late John and Frances (Prendergast) Parker, and widow of J. Clifford Winner. Mrs. Winner retired four years ago from the G. C. Murphy Company and was a member of St. Patrick's Catholic Church and the Sodality of the church. She is survived by four daughters, Mrs. Clement Miller, Mrs. Gerturde Miller, Mrs. Harry Morin and Mrs. Carl Deolan, all of the city; three sons, Verner J., with whom she resided; Sgt. John, with the Army at Hopewell, VA., and Ralph D. Winner, Short Gap; two sisters, Mrs. Florence Carney, Silver Spring, and Mrs. Catherine Cunningham, Wilkinsburg, Pa.; 18 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. The body is at the Hafer Funeral Home where the family will receive friends from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. A requiem mass will be celebrated Monday at 9 a.m. at St. Patrick's Catholic Church. Burial will be in Sunset Memorial Park. The Sodality will recite the rosary Sunday at 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
