  Notes	MOUNT SAVAGE — Thomas H. Tharp Sr., 69, of Mount Savage, passed away at Western Maryland Regional Medical Center Monday, Oct. 17, 2011. Tom was born May 30, 1942, in Frostburg, to the late George W. Tharp and Helen G. Folk. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by a sister, Edna Yutzy, and a brother, George “Bob” Thorpe. Mr. Tharp was retired from Sacred Heart Hospital as an Emergency Room Tech. He was a member of the Piney Mountain Sportmans Club. Tom loved to hunt and fish; but his greatest joy in life was being “Grandpap” to his grandchildren. Surviving are his wife of 44 years, Kathleen “Kay” E. (McCray) Tharp; his children; Thomas “Tom” Tharp Jr. and wife Leslie, Monza Cherie Howell and husband Harold, Jacqui Richards and husband John and Eric Tharp and fiancee Teena Cook; grandchildren, John Richards IV, Jessica Tharp, Thomas “Trey” Tharp III and Hunter Tharp. Also surviving are a brother, Jack Tharp; a sister, Susan Seifarth and numerous nieces and nephews. Friends and family will be received at the Durst Funeral Home P.A., 57 Frost Ave., Frostburg, on Thursday, Oct. 20, 2011, from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral services will be conducted in the funeral home on Friday, Oct. 21, 2011, at 11 a.m. with the Rev.
